- Own and evolve the vision and strategy for delivering best-in-class career outcomes for our students across multiple channels (B2C, University Partnerships, and B2B)
- Set, track and be accountable for Career Outcomes KPIs including placement rates, placements and job guarantee refunds
- Oversee and coach on functional strategies for employer partnerships (e.g. high volume of repeatable job opportunities), work-based learning (e.g. equipping students w/ relevant, real-world experience), and career services (e.g. curriculum and coaching to land a job)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve student outcomes including gathering and synthesizing data to identify opportunities and gaps and prioritizing the highest impact levers
- Build and iterate on the systems and tools needed to scale operations to support business growth;
- Drive cohesion with the three Career Outcomes functions - career services, work-based learning, and employer partnerships - and broader student-facing teams to collectively deliver results
- Serve as the internal champion for career outcomes by influencing and collaborating with key x-functional teams, especially Admissions, Product, Learning Experience and Engineering
- Foresee and adapt to changes in the hiring and employment landscape nationally and regionally including changes to Springboard’s Job Guarantee program
- Bring at least 7-10 years of experience scaling mission-driven businesses with accountability over outcomes; specifically, you have scaled functions from an early-stage (e.g. Series A/B) and navigated through ambiguity to build processes and systems to serve large volumes of students
- Have extensive experience (6+ years) in bootcamps, online education, workforce development, and/or higher ed
- Have forged and nurtured external partnerships as an integral part of your past work
- Embrace product mindset with a hypothesis-driven approach, data-driven decision-making, and ability to effectively drive prioritization; and you have worked extensively with product teams to develop features and tools in service of student success
- Have built and led x-functional teams and have a track record for developing talent
- Are an exceptional communicator, collaborator and relationship builder; can wield influence across a diversity of teams including Product, Learning Design, Student Student Success, and Admissions
- Are passionate about the education to employment connection and are genuinely excited about helping transform lives through successful career transitions
- Possess a true entrepreneurial spirit: you’re a builder by nature including being assertive, confident, creative, resourceful, and unfazed by ambiguity and change
- Salary range: $154,000 - $189,000 USD annually (includes base salary + a variable component) for candidates outside the San Francisco Bay Area. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
